ASME Code Pressure Vessel Design at UES

A pressure vessel is a container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure substantially different from the ambient pressure.  ASME codes are used for pressurized equipments like vessels, piping and fittings. They are the benchmark in designing of pressure vessels all around the world. ASME codes cover the design, construction, maintenance and alteration of pressure vessel designs. Most commonly used ASME codes by pressure vessel designers  are:

  • ASME Sec.VIII Div.1 for vessels, towers and exchangers

  • ASME Sec. I and SEC IV for boilers and hot water heaters

  • ASME Sec. B31.1, Sec B31.3 and Sec B31.5 for piping systems

  • ASME Sec. B31.3 is also used for many fittings

These are design by rules codes which provide formula methods that makes the professionals in Universal Engineering Services to work and check whether pressure vessels design falls clearly within the scope of the code.

UES work to many ASME standards to design and validate pressure vessels, boiler, fittings and piping systems. We as pressure vessel designers witnessed thousands of vessels and fittings to multiple codes.

  • Pressure vessel design to ASME VIII-1 and VIII-2

  • Hot water heaters and boilers to ASME I and IV

  • Piping to B31.1, B31.3, B31.5 and others

Universal Engineering Services has more than a decades experience in the pressure vessel field working for customers in UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and many more countries all over the world. Our teams believes in fast and genuine assistance in a work.
